It
is up to the writers, which mode to use while writing an argumentative essay. There
are no strong rules on ways of writing any argumentative essay. The authors can
sometimes come up with their own thoughts or ways provided they meet the
standards. In an argumentative essay-writing format, we use PROS to mean supporting ideas and
CONS to mean opposing ideas.
Refute Method
Type 1: State your
opinion followed by your choice and then Refute:
You
can prepare your argument stronger by taking this type of writing an
argumentative essay. You are certain that your readers receive the sound
knowledge on the matter raised in the topic question, and through your polite
approach, you can handle your argument to get it secure. You see the reader’s
perspective on the matter and accordingly you can invest in your arguments and
rebut.

Paragraph 1: Opinion 1+ Choice + Opposing Points + Refute
Paragraph 2: Opinion 2 + Choice + Opposing Points + Refute
Paragraph 3: Opinion 3+ Choice + Opposing Points + Refute
Remember:
Is your judgement is
“Pros” your opposing points will be “Cons” and If your persuasion is “Cons”
then your opposing points will be “Pros.”?
In
order to do this, you need to follow the following steps:
- State your opinion:
Having read the question, out of many evidences you
have, you can take the most important and strong persuasion to give it for the
discussion.
- State your choice on the sentiment:
Having stated your opinion, explain why you made that
choice through setting an example and explanation. Your example can be two or
more based on the cogency of the points you discuss.
- Then refute on the line:
Lastly, state the opposing points to suggest how the
readers might object on the spots that you have stated and refute it to
disprove that those details are non-valid or reasonable. Handle carefully to
validate your viewpoint as a good choice with valid reason.
Type 2: State the issue
from both the angel followed by your belief and understanding.
This
is another way to present your argument. You can apply this type of writing if
you do not take in any opinion of your own to address the event. Moreover, the
readers too are not well equipped with the subject. More than half your essays
explain the event focusing on the points from both the side. In this case, you
can pretend to be an expert on the subject while arguing with an issue.

- State the issue from both the angel:
Before getting any argument, set out your paragraph by
putting forward the points from both the sides followed by your evaluation of
the details discussed. By doing so, you are attempting to pretend that you
possess the in-depth knowledge on the subject and get the readers believe in
what you are saying is correct.

Later on having done the evaluation of the issue
discussed, put forward your opinion on the point you support with valid
explanations so that your points become strong to influence the readers to
conceive in what you are saying.

the debate that you are hitting) in detail followed by offering some info that
is facts for rebuttal. You can also give some examples to refute your argument
if you do not have the information. It is always right to rebut than refute in
such kind of composition.
Rebuttal Method
In
this method of writing an argument, the writer only rebut throughout the essay.
You can select this method if you have enough statistics (quantitative data and
probability theory) to represent it as evidences. This method is possible only
if the query holds both the pros and cons topics.
To
continue with this method, you must clearly put forward at least three
sub-thesis statement for your body paragraphs. Remember, rebuttal is the act of refuting by offering a contrary statement. Your
composition will sound in an opposing charge. That implies you are starting to
oppose (to go against) the issue and present your position. Your main purpose
