How to write Conclusion of an Argumentative Essay

Writing conclusion is the most important part of any argumentative essay. Your conclusion will determine your stand on what you have already explained in the body part of your essay. Your conclusion should be short and to the point. While writing your conclusion, you need to follow the following steps:

  1. Write your general overview about the topic in not more than one sentence (Paraphrase and restate your thesis).
  2. State why the topic that you have chosen is very significant and practical in not more than one sentence.
  3. Write the brief summary of your arguments in not more than three sentences. (Do not introduce new points here)
  4. Explain why the choice that you have made is very reasonable and accurate in contrast to opposing points in not more than two sentences.
  5. State concluding sentence.
