Some of the reasons are explained as below: A. 20/12/2019 This type of writing date is incorrect because the main function of  slash (/) Is to state "or" when we try to offer options. By composing in this form we are actually trying to say 20 or 12 or 2019 like an option in any Multiple Choice Questions. Thus, avoid using in this form.
